Established in 2001 by Kieron Shortall, C&S Variety Group is a friendly, welcoming and community based performing arts school for children and young adults in Cabra and Clondalkin, Dublin.

Kieron founded C&S with a simple vision: to create a safe, supportive and fun environment where young people could explore the performing arts, discover their talents, build confidence and form lifelong friendships.

More than 25 years later, that vision remains at the heart of everything we do.

Our weekly classes introduce students to a wide variety of performing arts disciplines, including:

• Singing and vocal performance
• Acting, drama and character development
• Dance across a variety of styles
• Musical theatre and stage performance
• Performance techniques and stage confidence
• Creative expression, teamwork and personal development.

We welcome students of all abilities and experience levels, from those taking their very first steps into performing arts to those looking to develop their skills further.

Over the years, our students have gone on to appear in films, stage shows and professional productions.

As a group, we've been fortunate to perform on some of Ireland's most prestigious stages, including:

• Bord Gáis Energy Theatre
• Olympia Theatre
• Gaiety Theatre
• Disneyland Paris.

Our spectacular annual productions give every student the opportunity to showcase their talents, celebrate their hard work and experience the excitement of performing for a live audience.

For some, it's the thrill of being in the spotlight. For others, it's overcoming nerves, finding their voice and discovering confidence they never knew they had.

The C&S experience extends far beyond the classroom and stage. Throughout the year, our students enjoy:

• Our annual five day adventure camp.
• Exciting performances and group activities.
• Celebrations, awards and special events.
• Opportunities to make new friends.
• Unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories.

We believe the friendships formed and experiences shared are just as important as the skills learned in class.
